Chelsea supporters have taken to social media to express their frustration with Christopher Nkunku, with many calling for the French attacker to be sold in the upcoming transfer window.
Despite showing flashes of brilliance in limited appearances, Nkunku has struggled to secure a regular spot in Enzo Maresca’s starting XI, with Nicolas Jackson favoured in attack. This has fuelled speculation that Nkunku is keen to leave Stamford Bridge, a move that many fans appear to support.
Kay voiced his disappointment: “Nkunku has disappointed every Chelsea fan. We need to stop buying from Leipzig.”
CFC shared a similar sentiment: “I would sell Nkunku and sign whoever our sporting directors want. It’s time we trust them so much.”
Shayee questioned whether Nkunku fits Chelsea’s style of play: “Nkunku was never a true striker, he doesn’t press as much as we’d like, and I don’t see him agreeing to the limited minutes he’s getting in the EPL.”
VK was more direct: “Nkunku needs to be sold ngl, can’t see a future for him at Chelsea.”
CFCypher added: “Honestly, I’d sell Nkunku, buy a second striker. Plus I don’t blame Felix if he wanted to leave. This is not a nobody player, still has world-class ability but Maresca doesn’t rate him I’m afraid.”
