Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has offered his perspective on Christopher Nkunku’s best position, hinting at potential tactical adjustments and squad changes in January.

Speaking earlier this week, Enzo Maresca made it clear that while Nkunku is versatile, he does not see him as a traditional striker.

“I don’t think Nkunku is a striker,” Maresca told TBR Football.

“His best position is number 10.” This insight provides a glimpse into how the Chelsea manager plans to utilise the Frenchman, who has had to battle injury problems at Chelsea.

The January transfer window could be pivotal for the Blues as the manager evaluates the squad. “In January, we will decide,” Maresca added. “There are some players who may not be happy and may want to leave.”
