Juventus have reportedly expressed interest in signing Chelsea defender Axel Disasi during the upcoming January transfer window. According to Football Italia, the Serie A giants have approached Chelsea to inquire about the French international’s availability, with the possibility of a loan deal being explored.
The Bianconeri are in urgent need of defensive reinforcements after suffering a double blow with injuries to Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal, both sidelined for six months due to anterior cruciate ligament injuries. Juventus Director Cristiano Giuntoli has confirmed that the club is targeting at least one defensive signing mid-season.
While Juventus have identified Feyenoord’s David Hancko as their primary target and Benfica’s Antonio Silva as a pricier alternative, reports from Calciomercato.com and IlBianconero.com suggest that Disasi is also on their radar.

The 26-year-old defender, who joined Chelsea from AS Monaco for €45 million in the summer of 2023, has found game time limited under manager Enzo Maresca. Although he has been a regular starter in Chelsea’s Europa Conference League campaign, Disasi has made just three Premier League starts this season and has spent much of the campaign on the bench.
Juventus are not the only club monitoring Disasi’s situation, with Bayern Munich also reportedly interested in the experienced centre-back. However, Juventus have taken the initiative by making initial contact with Chelsea to discuss a potential deal.
Chelsea’s decision on Disasi’s future will likely hinge on their plans for the January window and whether Maresca sees the Frenchman as a valuable squad member for the remainder of the season.
For now, Juventus fans will be eagerly awaiting updates on whether Disasi could be heading to Turin as part of their defensive overhaul.
