Manchester United legend Jaap Stam has suggested that Chelsea star, Cole Palmer, would like to join Manchester United. In a recent interview with Sport Lens, Stam remarked:

“Seeing the potential of Cole Palmer and him being just next door, you do wonder how Manchester United missed out on him, or maybe they did try and couldn’t get a deal over the line.”

Stam further speculated on Palmer’s aspirations:

“It would still be great to see him at Manchester United and being a fan of the club he’d probably like that to happen as well.”

However, Stam acknowledged the financial implications of such a move, given Palmer’s current form:

“However, in his current form there might not be any clubs who can afford him. He might one day be worth £200m the way he is going.”

Palmer, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City in the summer of 2023, has been a standout performer this season. His impressive displays have drawn comparisons to football legends and have sparked discussions about his future potential.

While Stam’s comments have stirred conversation, there is no indication from Palmer or Chelsea that a move is being considered. The young forward remains focused on contributing to Chelsea’s success as the Blues compete on multiple fronts this season.
