Emmanuel Petit has lavished praise on Chelsea’s rising star Cole Palmer, highlighting his exceptional ability to influence matches single-handedly. The former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder expressed admiration for Palmer’s game-changing qualities, emphasising the trust his teammates place in him.

“He can change the game any time he wants,” Petit said. “Every time he gets the ball, you get a feeling he can have an impact straight away on the result.”

Petit pointed out how Palmer has quickly become a pivotal figure in the Chelsea setup, with his presence inspiring confidence among teammates and concern among opponents.

“You can see that every time he gets the ball, all his teammates want to play with him, the movement around him,” Petit continued.

“You can see the opponents as well, every time Cole Palmer gets the ball, you can feel the opponent is stressed.”
