Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s time at Chelsea has been anything but smooth since his summer move to Stamford Bridge.
Signed during Enzo Maresca’s first transfer window, the 26-year-old midfielder was expected to make an impact after previously thriving under Maresca’s guidance at Leicester City. However, his transition to Chelsea has been far from seamless.
So far, Dewsbury-Hall has managed just five Premier League appearances, all as a substitute, struggling to carve out a role in Maresca’s plans. His performances have drawn criticism, particularly after the Astana game in the Conference League.
Chelsea fan, Will, didn’t hold back in expressing his disappointment, stating, “KDH might be the worst player I’ve ever seen play for Chelsea unfortunately.”
The fan went on to criticise Dewsbury-Hall’s ability to compete at the required level, adding, “Genuinely looks out of place in this competition, hope for our sake and his sake he’s gone in Jan.”
With the January transfer window fast approaching, speculation is already mounting about whether Chelsea will decide to cut their losses on the midfielder.
