Chelsea are reportedly open to allowing midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to leave the club in the January transfer window, with former club Leicester City and Aston Villa among the interested parties, according to Football Insider.

Dewsbury-Hall joined Chelsea from Leicester City during the summer in a £30 million deal but has struggled to establish himself in Enzo Maresca’s starting lineup. Limited opportunities at Stamford Bridge have raised doubts about his long-term role in the squad.

Both Leicester and Aston Villa are monitoring the situation closely. Leicester, in particular, are keen to bring the midfielder back to the King Power Stadium, where he enjoyed significant success prior to his Chelsea move. Villa, meanwhile, see Dewsbury-Hall as a potential addition to bolster their midfield depth.

As Chelsea assess their squad options for the second half of the season, the club may decide to sanction his departure if a suitable offer is tabled. Whether it would be a loan or a permanent deal remains unclear, but a move could provide the player with the regular playing time he currently lacks.
