Enzo Maresca named a very rotated Chelsea team to play Southampton, but the Blues ran out 5-1 victors nevertheless.

Chelsea have been in top form in recent weeks, and the Blues now sit above Arsenal in second place.

Jamie Carragher who initially doubted Chelsea at the start of the season, has backed Chelsea to finish above Manchester City this season.

As Chelsea began to dominate Southampton, Liverpool legend Carragher said on The Overlap watchalong: “There we go. I’m telling you, Chelsea are going to finish above Man City.

“They’re winning games with ease. The way they played against Arsenal, the way they played against Liverpool.

“As a Liverpool fan I’m more worried about Arsenal than Chelsea, they’re a bit more machine-like than Chelsea. But Chelsea are playing so well.”
