Chelsea midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu seems to be having a difficult time on loan with Southampton.

Ugochukwu recently deleted everything Southampton from his social media, after being dropped by the manager Russell Martin.

Russell Martin has now stated that the Chelsea loanee still remains in his plans.

In a chat with Daily Echo, Russel stated that he’ll do everything to assess the situation based on the games played by him.

He said: “I think if it’s not Chelsea, he’s probably back in the squad. He wasn’t in the squad against Brighton and he knows the reason why.

“Every game is different so it doesn’t mean he’s not going to be in the squad moving forward. We will assess the situation and just have to assess it game to game.”
