Cole Palmer has trolled Aston Villa player Morgan Rogers on social media, following Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Villa at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Palmer won the Premier League Man of the Match award, after recording a goal and assist in that game.

After the game, Palmer posted an interaction between himself and Rogers on social media app Snapchat.

Ahead of Sunday’s game, Rogers had told Palmer that he will get ‘no goals against Villa’.

Cole Palmer responded by telling his Villa opponent: ‘Player of the Match is comin [sic] back with me.’

Palmer went on to score, assist and win the Man of the Match award. Amazing!

Cole Palmer and Rogers enjoy a close friendship, having previously played together in Manchester City’s academy.
