Chelsea loanee Lesley Ugochukwu is having a rough time on loan with Southampton.

Ugochukwu signed for Chelsea in a £23.1 million deal from French side Rennes last year. After one season at the club, he moved to Southampton on a season-long loan in August.

However, it appears that the 20-year-old is frustrated with his time with the Saints, as he’s not getting enough minutes for a Southampton side that may be doomed for relegation.

Ugochukwu has now deleted all references to Southampton on his Instagram page after he was left out of the squad for their 1-1 draw with Brighton on Friday night.

Southampton boss Russell Martin has given Lesley Ugochukwu just two starts in Southampton’s 13 Premier League games so far.

Ugochukwu was entirely left out of Southampton’s travelling squad for their trip to Brighton on Friday.

The Chelsea loanee has now removed all mention of Southampton on his Instagram account.

Chelsea may move to recall Ugochukwu in the January transfer window, due to his lack of playing time.
