Chelsea youngster Josh Acheampong recently had some issues with the club that saw him exiled from the first team.
Chelsea had tried to get him to sign a new deal all to no avail, as his current deal with the Blues will expire in 2026.
The 18-year-old had been told by the club that he would not represent any Chelsea team until he signed a new contract.
However, Acheampong has now returned to first team training, sparking hopes that his exile may have ended.
While it remains to be seen whether Acheampong will travel with the team to Germany, his return to training is a positive sign.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca had previously expressed his disappointment over Acheampong’s situation, calling it “a shame” that the young defender was not with the first team.
