Marc Cucurella has revealed how the Chelsea players are sad about the injury to Reece James.

James has been moving from one injury problem to another, and has now injured his hamstring most recently.

James has been limited to just 30 Premier League appearances over the past two seasons due to injury.

Cucurella has admitted that the team has felt the impact of James’s absence, saying: “We are very sad. It’s tough. He’s fit again then has a small injury.

“We know he’s very important for us, he’s our captain.”

Cucurella is backing James to work hard to recover and return to the team soon.

“He will work hard and can be with us again very soon,” he said.
