Former Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit has praised Nicolas Jackson for his goal against Leicester City.

Nicolas Jackson showed great balance to keep the ball amid pressure, and then brilliantly found the bottom-right corner with the outside of his boot.

Petit was indeed pleased with the performance and goal of Nicolas Jackson.

Petit said: “The first goal, Jackson challenged the ball, he looked strong physically, and you know, it looks hard to get the ball.

“The first touch to avoid the defender is brilliant, the way he won the ball, the first touch is beautiful, just remarkable.”

The 23-year-old has now scored seven goals and provided three assists in 13 appearances across competitions.
