Chelsea recorded a 2-1 victory over Leicester City, as the Blues put in a top-class performance at the King Power Stadium.

Nicolas Jackson scored the opener in the 15th minute, as his doggedness and tenacity paid off.

Noni Madueke had a huge chance to double Chelsea’s lead just before the break but scuffed his volley off target. Noni Madueke would then accidentally block Cole Palmer’s goal-bound effort in bizarre circumstance.

Enzo Fernandez sealed the victory as he made it 2-0 in the 75th minute with a good header.

Romeo Lavia conceded a late penalty which Jordan Ayew converted in the fifth minute of stoppage time. Chelsea would however hold on to their victory.

Chelsea fans were very critical of Noni Madueke after the game.
