Chelsea defeated Leicester City 2-1, fresh off the international break.
It’s a game Chelsea should have won by a large margin, but they squandered so many chances.
Leicester City manager Steve Cooper has expressed his frustration with the refereeing decisions in his team’s defeat to Chelsea.
Cooper claims his side had ‘terrible luck’ with the officials.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the match, Cooper said: “The big moment is the first penalty [not given], it’s clear what happened there.”
Cooper also slammed the referee for initially failing to award his side a penalty.
“You see how onside he was. That was the story of the officials’ game,” he said.
Cooper also claimed that Chelsea shouldn’t have scored in the first half.
“We gave away a poor goal. It should have been 0-0,” he said.
He then added: “Defensively we were generally OK.
“We need to be showing good courage and belief. If we do that we can create chances and be a threat.”
