The past two years have been traumatic for Chelsea captain Reece James, as he has been mostly out injured.

Reece James has now picked up a hamstring issue in Chelsea training which will see him miss the game against Leicester City, after having featured in Chelsea’s last four Premier League games.

Reacting to Reece James’ latest hamstring injury, Enzo Maresca revealed it’s a minor problem, and James will be back for the coming games.

He stated: “It was two days ago. Hopefully he can be available for the next one but he is not available for this one.

“I know it’s not easy, but if every time [James] gets an injury it becomes harder for him it’s, for me, even worse.

“He has to accept and try to avoid as much as he can. Sometimes things happen even if you want to avoid. Hopefully he can be available the next one.”
