Chelsea defender Renato Veiga was called up to join the Portugal senior team on international duty.
Veiga, who can play multiple positions is enjoying a fast rise in his career, despite being just 21.
Veiga can play as a centre-back, left-back and defensive midfielder.
The versatile player showcased exceptional talent in Portugal’s 1-1 draw against Croatia on Monday night, which earned him the praise of Portugal boss Roberto Martinez.
Martinez commended Veiga and fellow Chelsea teammate Joao Felix, stating: “Renato shows exceptional character.
“Joao Felix’s positioning makes him invaluable.”
Veiga, signed up for Chelsea from FC Basel last summer.
