For last season, Cole Palmer was seen as the signing of the season, after a spectacular debut season with Chelsea.
This season, another Chelsea player also falls into this category after a bright start to the campaign.
Former Newcastle and West Ham goalkeeper Shaka Hislop has hailed Chelsea winger Pedro Neto as the signing of the season.
During a segment of choosing the Premier League’s best transfer signing this season, ESPN pundit Shaka Hislop decided to pick Chelsea winger Pedro Neto.
“Pedro Neto, he cost Chelsea quite a bit of money and you knew the player he was coming from Wolves. I just think he gives them a different dynamic in those wide areas,” Hislop told ESPN.
“Every time he’s come off the bench, he’s changed the game for Chelsea. I think he has been one of Chelsea’s brighter lights this season in what has been a very good start to the season for them.”
