Chelsea winger Noni Madueke put in a top performance for England in their 3-0 victory over Greece.
The £29m man has been ever present for Chelsea this season, and is a regular feature in the starting line-up for the Blues.
Noni Madueke has however claimed that he’s yet to reach the levels he wants for Chelsea, but he is still confident in his ability.
“I have got a lot of belief in my ability. Even if it is not going so great, I still believe I can impact games. That is what I tried to do against Greece and thankfully it worked,” Madueke said.
“Also at Chelsea … I have had some great moments this season and sometimes I have not been as good as I like but that is part of the process. I am always full of confidence and that does not change when I put on an England shirt.”
It’s great to see how much Madueke has improved from last. The 23-year-old was rumoured to being available for sale during the summer transfer window, but is now a key player.
