Former England and Chelsea goalkeeper Rob Green, has given his assessment of Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has demanded that Robert Sanchez continue to build possession from the back.
Sanchez has been guilty of making the most mistakes leading to goal in Europe’s top five leagues.
Rob Green has claimed that there’s usually tension at Stamford Bridge whenever Robert Sanchez is with the ball.
Green told The Athletic: “I have sensed there is a problem myself. I was at Chelsea v Brighton (when they won 4-2) and the tension in the crowd was palpable. There was an intake of breath from over 30,000 people whenever the ball was around him…
“I just think that, along with the passing, if you start looking for things to do, it then adds to the scrutiny, that the crowd are thinking: ‘What is he going to do now?’.”
