As Chelsea fans, we already know what a gem Pedro Neto is, but it seems his talents haven’t gone unnoticed by former Arsenal star Theo Walcott either. After Neto’s standout performance in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal, Walcott expressed regret that the Gunners didn’t make a move for the Portuguese winger.
Speaking to the BBC, Walcott said, “When we talk about Neto – he’s the sort of player who Arsenal maybe could have signed to have given that competition to other players.”
Walcott highlighted Neto’s qualities, suggesting he could bring a level of competition that Arsenal needs right now. “That’s kind of what they need right now, to provide that competition,” he added.
As Chelsea fans, we couldn’t agree more on Neto’s value, but we’re grateful he’s in blue rather than red. His skills, pace, and ability to change games make him an asset we’re thrilled to have. Arsenal’s loss is our gain, and we look forward to watching Neto continue to make an impact at Stamford Bridge!
