Chelsea play host to Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, and Cole Palmer is a huge doubt for this game.

Palmer suffered a heavy knock against Manchester United, as Lisandro Martinez tackled him recklessly.

Cole Palmer was spotted walking unaided at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, for the game against Noah.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, has however stated that the 22-year-old is getting better but refused to ascertain whether he’d be available for Arsenal on Sunday.

He said: “Cole is getting better, but because he can walk and have dinner doesn’t mean he is completely fit.

“He is getting better… We still have two days to prepare for the game. Hopefully, we can have him for a session – at least on Saturday – and then we take a decision.”

  1. Recently, I’ve realised Cole Palmer is being deployed more to the left side of the pitch and as a result we are not getting the best out of him. Please coach,is it possible to shift him more to the right, that is closer to Madueke? I believe it’s how we can get the best out of both Madueke and Palmer. Thank you!
