Cole Palmer was absent from Chelsea training session at Cobham on Tuesday.

Palmer limped off the pitch at the end of the Premier League game with Man United last weekend after a brutal challenge from Lisandro Martinez.

Palmer isn’t expected to feature in the Conference League against Noah on Thursday, but is in a race against time to feature against Arsenal this weekend.

Enzo Maresca has given an update on Cole Palmer’s fitness ahead of Chelsea’s Conference League clash against Armenian side Noah.

Enzo Maresca is hopeful to have Cole Palmer back for Arsenal game on Sunday.

Enzo told reporters: “Cole didn’t train yesterday. We will see today if he is able to train with us.

“We hope so [if fit vs Arsenal]. But we need to see and then decide.”
