Recent rumours have linked Vinicius Jr with a surprise move to Chelsea.
Despite an outstanding season that nearly earned him the Ballon d’Or, only to be edged out by Rodri, Vinicius has sparked transfer speculation by rejecting new contract negotiations with the Madrid giants.
His current contract ties him to the Santiago Bernabéu until 2027, but his reluctance to commit to an extension has alerted several European powerhouses, with Chelsea said to be among those interested in him.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, there is nothing actively going on at Chelsea about the possibility of signing Vinicius Jr from Real Madrid next year.
The Blues might have an interest, but the Blues are not working towards getting this ambitious transfer done anytime soon, his repoets claim.
Chelsea’s links to Vinicius is ‘absolutely not realistic’ and the Brazilian winger is not pushing to leave Real Madrid after losing out on the Ballon d’Or award.
