Chelsea legend and former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has reportedly emerged as the frontrunner to become head coach of Italian Serie A giants, AS Roma.

According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Lampard is a huge favourite to replace current Roma boss Ivan Juric whose job is under threat amid a poor run of form.

It will be a new terrain for Lampard, who has only ever coached in England after spells at Derby County, Chelsea and Everton.

Frank Lampard has not held a coaching job since his role as Chelsea’s caretaker manager in the summer of 2023.
