Manchester United host Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday, with Ruud van Nistelrooy to take charge of the Manchester United team for that game.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has said he’s looking forward to facing former team-mate Ruud Van Nistelrooy who will be in the United dugout on Sunday when Manchester United host Chelsea.

Enzo Maresca and Van Nistelrooy were teammates at Malaga for a short period during their playing days, taking to the pitch 13 times together for the Spanish club during the 2011/12 campaign.

And when asked about their relationship, the Italian had nothing but praise for the interim United boss.

He said: “I didn’t speak with Ruud. I will give him a big hug on Sunday before the game. Fantastic guy, humble, very professional.

“I shared with him time when he was already finished but even then you could see how good he was.”
