Chelsea winger Jadon Sancho has been ruled out for Chelsea’s clash with Man United.

Jadon Sancho has missed the last couple of games for Chelsea, and won’t make the squad for Manchester United game, Blues boss Enzo Maresca has revealed.

According to Enzo Maresca, Sancho is ill and has been out for some days now.

“All the players are available but Jadon will be out. He has been ill in the recent days,” said Enzo Maresca.

Chelsea were knocked out of the Carabao Cup, losing to Newcastle 2-0 in midweek, and Enzo Maresca has dismissed claims that he ‘sacrificed’ the Carabao Cup to win against Manchester United.

He said: “No. We prepared to win at Newcastle in the Carabao. Unfortunately, we lost. We prepare every game to try to win. The reason we make changes isn’t because there’s an A team or B team. We are all one team.”
