Chelsea star Cole Palmer has been named the England men’s player of the year for 2023-24.

Cole Palmer won the award ahead of Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka, who finished second and third respectively.

It’s a huge achievement for Palmer who only made his England debut in November last year – in a 2-0 win against Malta at Wembley.

Palmer was only recently named PFA young player of the year. He has represented his country nine times, with five of those appearances coming at Euro 2024.

Cole Palmer has become the first Chelsea player to win this England since Ashley Cole won it in 2010.
