Jamie Carragher recently claimed that Cole Palmer has been the best player in the Premier League over the last 15 months.

Stats wise, Carragher is very correct, as Palmer has also been among the best in Europe.

Cole Palmer recently became the first player in the history of the Premier League to score four goals in first-half of a league game.

The 22-year-old has now been involved in 43 league goals (28 goals and 15 assists) since his Chelsea debut in September 2023.

Only one player across Europe’s top leagues has been involved in more goals: Harry Kane for Bayern Munich with 49.

“I absolutely adore Phil Foden, but Cole Palmer has to play in the England team,” said Carragher.

“Right now, there is no better player in the Premier League over the last 15 months.”
