Enzo Maresca has a striking dilemma, as his two strikers Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku are in top form.
Jackson has been Chelsea’s best goalscorer in the Premier League this season, with four league goals, while Nkunku has six goals in all competitions.
Nkunku has scored once in the league – the match winner against Bournemouth, and has scored twice in the Conference League and recently bagged a hat-trick in the League Cup win over Barrow this week.
Enzo Maresca has however revealed that he’d keep rotating between Jackson and Nkunku, as they are both doing well. Enzo Maresca also hailed his other players who are doing well.
“It will be between one of Nico and Christo,” the Italian told a press conference. “They are both playing very well for us.
“But it is not just them, there are many players that did well [against Barrow] in the week.
“Pedro [Neto] did well the other day, Misha [Mudryk] did well. All of them, in fact. In defence, Benoit [Badiashile] did well, also Axel [Disasi] and Renato [Veiga] and also Cesare [Casadei] – I thought he did a fantastic game the other day.
“It’s important when there is a chance, be it five minutes, 10 minutes, half-an-hour or from the start, that the players give everything, so it’s important.”
