Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has heaped massive praise on former Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Henry has praised Pochettino’s intelligence and adaptability, while also highlighting his successful stints at Espanyol and Southampton.

For Henry, Pochettino was already making progress at Chelsea before his dismissal.

“He did an amazing job with Espanyol. An amazing job. He did amazingly with Southampton. I thought he was doing well, he was on his way at Chelsea,” Henry said.

Chelsea have had multiple managers since Roman Abramovich’s exit in 2022, and there have been reports of power struggle at the club between Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, whose Clearlake Capital holds a 65.1% stake.
