Noni Madueke was a player Chelsea were open to selling during the summer transfer window.

Chelsea had internally considered the possibility of selling the 22-year-old winger over the summer, as there was pressure to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

Chelsea eventually let go of a number of academy products, with Conor Gallagher the biggest name on list.

Chelsea eventually kept Noni Madueke, but the Blues went on to sign a number of quality forward players like Joao Felix, Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho.

Madueke started the season down the pecking order, but he has now forced his way into Enzo Maresca’s starting team.

According to reports, Madueke has now been deemed an ‘untouchable’ by the Chelsea hierarchy, and no longer available for sale.

At 22, Noni Madueke could play for the club at a high level for the next decade.
