Chelsea defeated Bournemouth 1-0 away from home at the Vitality Stadium.

A late goal from Christopher Nkunku won the game for Chelsea, while it was Jadon Sancho who changed the game for the Blues after coming off the bench at half-time, and assisting Christopher Nkunku’s winning goal.

Robert Sanchez and Moises Caicedo made BBC’s Team of the Week following their good performances, but Jadon Sancho missed the team.

Explaining his selection, Troy Deeney said: “Sanchez made a great save from Evanilson’s penalty, although I think he got stitched up with the backpass that led to it. All in all, a good night’s work for him. He’s come under a lot of pressure.”

“Caicedo, I think the £100m price tag is starting to wear off now. He’s started to deliver and become the player that we saw at Brighton. Defensively he was excellent and everyone that needed to be tackled, he tackled.”
