Chelsea defeated Bournemouth 1-0 away from home at the Vitality Stadium.
A late goal from Christopher Nkunku won the game for Chelsea, but it was Jadon Sancho who changed the game for the Blues after coming off the bench at half-time, and assisting Christopher Nkunku’s winning goal.
Sancho has been receiving plaudits since the match, and Chelsea fans were pleased with his debut performance.

Acenair836: “Reminded me of Hazard. Great hold-up play and he was gliding past people. Night and day to what he was doing at United.”
ConversationWilling: “He just seems to fit in perfectly with this system. Excellent creativity and possession play. It’s just unfortunate for him that he went to a team who prioritised extremely fast transitions.”
Last-Bit5658: “He was so productive on the wing, being the biggest chance creator when coming on, keeping hold of the ball very well. Nice start.”
