Chelsea midfielder and stand-in captain Enzo Fernandez is missing in action as Chelsea visit Bournemouth away at the Vitality Stadium.
According to reports, the Argentina midfielder is missing the game due to illness, as Enzo Fernandez didn’t make the squad.
Enzo Fernandez only recently played 85 minutes for Argentina in a World Cup qualifier against Colombia, and probably picked the illness shortly afterwards.
In his absence, Renato Veiga will be part of a double pivot with Moises Caicedo.
Cole Palmer also starts for Chelsea despite being a doubt after pulling out of England international duty with a thigh injury.
Deadline day signing Jadon Sancho is on the bench, while Enzo Fernandez isn’t in the squad. Malo Gusto is also out with a knock, as Renato Veiga and Axel Disasi come in.
