The media have tagged the rumoured crisis among Chelsea’s leadership as a civil war.
Co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali are believed to be at war, and Blues boss Enzo Maresca was asked about the ongoing feud.
“I said many times, we started two months ago, so we need to know each other,” said Enzo Maresca as soon as reporters asked him about the brewing feud between co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali.
“If I spend my energy on something different, it’s not worth it.
“My focus is just on tomorrow’s game, to be honest.
“In the last week, I have focused on the game, preparing in the best way.”
When asked if he’s been told about what’s happening between the owners, the Chelsea boss answered: “No. I spoke with Todd when we played City.
“I spoke with Behdad days ago. I am speaking with both, there is no problem at all.”
