Ben Chilwell doesn’t seem to have a future at Chelsea, and hasn’t played a game at all this season.

The 27-year-old has been told to find a new club, and was also excluded from the Conference League squad.

Chilwell still has a contract with Chelsea until 2027, and is one of the last standing players who won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021.

According to journalist Kieran Gill, Chilwell had hoped he’d at least be included in the Conference League squad, but that hasn’t been the case.

Chelsea fans haven’t been happy with the treatment of Ben Chilwell, and many supporters believe the 27-year-old could have still useful to Enzo Maresca over the course of the season.

See a few reactions below

Chris Sweetman: “Chilwell is such a creative left full-back. If not for injuries no coach wouldn’t want to have him.”

Rain: “Chelsea would rather lose a competition than play Chilwell. What a way to shoot yourself in your foot.”

GreenTurf: “Chilwell deserves better treatment than that. Chelsea hero, Champions League winner and all the sudden you are NOT good at all?”
