Chelsea signed up Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on a season-long loan, with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

Blues boss Enzo Maresca is pleased with the signing of Sancho, and described him as ‘key’ for unlocking defences sitting deep in their half.

Chelsea have a star-studded side, with the attacking areas full of quality.

However, former Manchester United striker Andy Cole doesn’t believe Sancho will be a success at Chelsea.

Andy Cole said: “Unless football becomes 24-a-side, he’s (Sancho) going to struggle like everybody else is at Chelsea because nobody knows what’s going on there.

“They’ve got loads of big names but they can only choose 11 players to start, so it will be interesting to see how he does at Chelsea.”
