England interim boss Lee Carsley handed Chelsea winger Noni Madueke his senior England debut on Wednesday night in the Nations League win over Finland.
England won the game 2-0, with England captain Harry Kane marking his 100th cap for his country with a brace.
For Noni Madueke, he came on for Bukayo Saka in the 66th minute, and assisted Harry Kane ten minutes later for his second goal.
Madueke had an impressive performance for the Three Lions, and impressed his manager Lee Carsley who hailed his form.
“Noni has carried on where he left off at Chelsea. He is very attacking, very sharp. Different to what we have got, different kind of wide player,” Carsley said after the game.
“When you consider that Bukayo [Saka] had a run at the full-back for 60 odd minutes, Noni comes on and carries it on, so you wouldn’t want to be a defender playing against them two.”
