Former Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, has said he didn’t think twice about leaving Chelsea for Arsenal.
Jorginho said he was drawn to the Gunners’ playing style, which he believed suited his qualities, and was confident he could make a valuable contribution to the team.
For Jorginho, his time at Chelsea was up, and he wasn’t part of the new project.
Speaking on the Seaman Says podcast, Jorginho said: “It was in the last two days of the window closing, and then I saw that my time at Chelsea there was basically finished there.
“For the project there, I didn’t feel part of the project anymore and sometimes you just need to accept and move on.
“When I had the call, I didn’t think twice, you know, because I knew that Mikel, he tried to sign me before, and it did not happen and I saw the way the team was playing, which suits my qualities and I believed that I could add to the team as well, and it was yes straightaway.”
