Victor Osimhen failed to seal a move to Chelsea on transfer deadline day, and was left without a transfer to a top side in Europe.

Linked with some of Europe’s biggest names like Chelsea, Arsenal and PSG, Victor Osimhen had to settle for a move to Galatasaray after transfer deadline.

Even Saudi Arabian giants Al Ahli were interested in signing Osimhen with a bumper salary package, but that didn’t go through.

Former Italy defender Luciano Marangon has blamed Victor Osimhen, his agent, and Napoli for his failed exit from the club.

Osimhen’s transfer issue attracted a lot of interest, and former Italy international Marangon has shared his opinion. He believes that all the parties involved in Osimhen’s transfer were to blame for the messy way it ended.

“The Osimhen issue was handled very badly by everyone; by him, by his agent and by the clubs,” Marangon told TuttoNapoli.

Osimhen will hope to continue his fine form at Galatasaray, and make a big move in January or at the end of the season.
