Chelsea wonderkid Estevao Willian made his Brazil senior team debut against Ecuador.
The 17-year-old became the fifth youngest player to feature for the Brazil national senior team on Friday as he made his debut against Ecuador.
17-year-old Estevao Willian came on for Luiz Henrique with just 28 minutes to play, as Brazil beat Ecuador 1-0.
Rodrygo who’s only just 23, has vowed to pass on his experience to the young Estevao Willian
Rodrygo burst onto the scene as a teenager, and at age 23, he’s already a key player for Real Madrid and Brazil.
Speaking to Lance, Rodrygo said: “Regardless of age, I know I’m very young, I’m only 23, but I end up being the most experienced of the group.
“You see Estevao at 17, [Luiz] Henrique at 18. So, they are very young boys, so even though I’m young, I can pass on some of this experience to them.
“And there are also older players who pass on some of this experience to me. So, I think that, in short, it’s what the teacher said, about sharing responsibilities. Everyone knows their role, everyone has to take responsibility for it. And that’s the way. I think that when we really manage to do it, everyone is doing well, everyone takes responsibility, we’ll achieve great things.”
