Since signing for Chelsea, Mykhailo Mudryk has struggled to live up to expectations.

Ukraine midfielder Georgiy Sudakov has spoken highly of Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk, and believes he has the qualities to be a future Ballon d’Or winner.

Mudryk is already regarded as a flop at Chelsea following his big money move from Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2023.

However, while speaking to the Guardian about his fellow countryman’s quality, Sudakov remarked: “Mykhailo is an incredible player, he has no upper limit and he can win the Ballon d’Or with his qualities, but everything depends only on him.

“I believe he will be able to show his best qualities. Ukraine is an incredibly talented country and he is a great example for us to follow.”

Mudryk has played under different managers at Chelsea, and none have been able to get the best out of him.

The 23-year-old winger has made four appearances for the Blues so far this season, with one assist.
