Chelsea beat competition to sign Estevao Willian from Palmeiras during the summer, but the 17-year-old will move to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2025 when he turns 18.
Estevao’s agent has revealed that Chelsea view Estevao Willian as a No.10.
Chelsea have been monitoring the progress of Willian who will remain with Palmeiras for another season.
The teenager is a big name in Brazil, and was only recently given his debut by the Brazilian national team.
Estevao Willian currently plays on the wing, but it appears he could be competing with Cole Palmer for the No.10 spot when he joins Chelsea, his agent claims.
“He can adapt to any style of play,” Estevao’s representative Andre Cury said.
“Chelsea is a club that sees Estevao playing as a No.10.
“For us that is important. He can develop even more playing in the middle.”
