One of Chelsea’s summer signings has suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him out for two months.
Chelsea midfielder Omari Kellyman has confirmed he has suffered a major injury that will make him miss games for the next two months.
18-year-old Omari Kellyman moved to Chelsea from Aston Villa in June for £19million, and was Enzo Maresca’s third signing for the club.
The teenage midfielder is yet to appear in a matchday squad for the first-team but has made three appearances for Chelsea’s U21 side and is viewed as a very important player for the future.
Omari Kellyman made the sad announcement on his social media, thus: “Gutted to have suffered a hamstring injury. Part of the game but I’ll be back stronger.”
