Chelsea’s latest summer transfer deal saw the sale of Brazilian forward Angelo Gabriel to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr on a permanent basis.
Chelsea sold Angelo Gabriel for £19m, and made £6m profit from the player they only signed up last year.
It’s a good return of profit that will definitely help Chelsea balance the books after the 2024 summer transfer window.
According to Nizaar Kinsella, Chelsea spent £208.5m on new signings this summer. The deals for Mike Penders and Estevao Willian aren’t included, as they will join in 2025.
Chelsea also generated £188.9m from the sale of players this summer. This means that Chelsea’s net spend is £19.6m.
Chelsea’s transfer business this summer means that the club has stayed in line with the Premier League’s PSR (Profit and Sustainability Rules).
