The summer transfer window was shut on Friday night, with Chelsea sealing a  number of deals this past window.

The Premier League clubs ended up splashing just over £2billion on new signings, with Chelsea spending over £200million on 11 new players.

Paul Merson has named his three top signings of the summer, and a Chelsea signing made the cut.

Paul Merson named Pedro Neto as one of his signings of the summer, as well as former Chelsea youngster Dominic Solanke and West Ham’s Max Kilman.

“I like Neto at Chelsea. I think if they can keep him fit and he can keep on getting on that football pitch, he’s unplayable,” the Arsenal icon said on Twitter.

“I think he’s top, top draw. The only problem though is if they can keep him fit.”
