The Ivan Toney, Victor Osimhen and Chelsea-Saudi transfer saga

Chelsea have been linked with two strikers Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney.

Chelsea are in need of a top striker for the season, with Nicolas Jackson not showing that he can bang in the goals consistently.

Interestingly, Saudi Arabian giants Al Ahli have been with both strikers Ivan Toney and Osimhen.

Napoli have reached a total agreement with Al Ahli for the transfer of Victor Osimhen.

The deal between the clubs is reportedly worth a total package of €75-80 million, with Al Ahli already having booked a medical for the Nigerian striker.

The proposed contract would see Osimhen earn a lucrative €25-30 million per season net over a four-year term, complete with a release clause.

However, the final decision rests with Osimhen himself, who is yet to give his green light.

Also, Brentford have accepted a £35million bid from Al Ahli, according to L’Equipe.

Toney, 28, is expected to sign a contract worth £400,000 a week with bonuses included, making him one of the highest-paid English players in football. He will undergo a medical in London before flying out to Jeddah on Friday night.

Will Osimhen move to Chelsea and reject the riches of Saudi Arabia?

Some interesting few hours lie ahead…
