Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic will leave Chelsea for Strasbourg on loan for the 2024-25 campaign.

Djordje Petrovic is one of the players not in Enzo Maresca’s plans for the season.

Following the signing of Filip Jorgensen, Enzo Maresca has stuck with Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen as his goalkeepers for the season.

Petrovic made 31 appearances in all competitions last season after arriving from MLS side New England Revolution in a £12.5m deal.

The Serbian international who was first choice under Mauricio Pochettino, will now sign on loan for Strasbourg for the rest of the season.

This follows after Kepa Arrizabalaga’s move to Bournemouth.

The French side who are also owned by the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital-led BlueCo, have already signed Caleb Wiley and Andrey Santos on loan from Chelsea this summer.
